DAY 01

Negombo: Arrival & Rest

Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Negombo for overnight rest after your flight.

DAY 02

Negombo - Yapahuwa - Anuradhapura

After breakfast leave to Anuradhapura (Approx 3.5 hr drive). On the way, visit the lost kingdom of Maho, Yapahuwa, famous for its magnificent stone staircase.

DAY 03

Anuradhapura: Ancient Evocative Ruins

Full day dedicated to seeing the ruins of the ancient city of Anuradhapura. The ruins are one of South Asia’s most evocative sights, featuring an expansive collection of archaeological and architectural wonders. Overnight in Anuradhapura.

DAY 04

Anuradhapura - Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya

After breakfast leave to see the ruins of ancient Polonnaruwa (Approx 2 hour drive). After site-seeing, proceed to Sigiriya for your overnight stay.

DAY 05

Sigiriya: Rock Fortress & Village Safari

An early morning hike to the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. In the afternoon, embark on a village safari and learn how to cook a traditional Sri Lankan meal. Overnight in Sigiriya.

DAY 06

Sigiriya - Kandy: Sacred Temples

Depart for Kandy to visit the famous Temple of the Tooth. Later, explore the Gadaladeniya and Lankathilake temples. Overnight in Kandy.

DAY 07

Kandy - Pinnawala - Galle

After breakfast leave for the southern coast. On the way, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. After lunch in Colombo, proceed to the historic city of Galle for overnight stay.

DAY 08

Galle: Beach & Dutch Fort

Enjoy some relaxation on the beach. Later, visit the famous Galle Fort (UNESCO World Heritage site), exploring its historic ramparts and colonial streets.

DAY 09

Galle - Airport: Departure

Transfer to the airport in time for your flight home. Ayubowan!
